President Obama has designated Wilma Liebman as the next Chairperson of the National Labor Relations Board. First appointed by Bill Clinton, Liebman has served as a member of the NLRB since November 1997. After her first five-year term expired, she was reappointed by President Bush and confirmed by the Senate to a second and third term. Ms. Liebman is the former Deputy Director of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.
